"Love is blind."

What a cliché. It basically means that if you love someone, youcannot see any faults in that person. I personally disagree. Because when love is perceived that way, it just makes you sound very naïve and irrational. You cannot call it love. It should rather be considered as infatuation. An intense feeling, but very short-lived.

I believe that love is all-seeing and accepting.
It is recognizing all the flaws and blemishes a person has and acknowledging them.
It is tolerating the bad habits and mannerisms, and working around them together.
It is looking at all the fears and insecurities, and knowing that your role is to comfort.
It is facing life with its ups, downs, and working through all challenges side by side.
Infatuation is fragile, it will shatter when life is not perfect.
But love is strong and it strengthens, because it is real.
Know the difference...
